A New Economic Development Resource Center Available for Cities

May 21, 2013
The Institute for Local Government has launched the Economic Development Resource Center to help cities meet the fiscal challenges in light of the loss of redevelopment and state budget cuts.

The resource center includes relevant case stories, reports, and links to organizations that can help local officials thrive in today’s economic climate. It is focused on sustainable economic development which includes policies and practices that help communities attract jobs for the long term while maintaining environmental quality, conserving natural resources, and improving the overall health quality of life in the city.
