Support Requested for the Transportation Coalition for Livable Communities

March 6, 2013

The Transportation Coalition for Livable Communities, in which the League participates, is requesting support from individual cities for their proposed program concept for cap-and-trade auction revenues.

The letter will be submitted to the Department of Finance and California Air Resources Board as the agencies develop a three-year expenditure plan for cap-and-trade auction revenues. The coalition recently made presentations to the Department of Finance, California Air Resources Board and other state agencies in support of our proposed program concept. The letter will be submitted during the written public input period.

If your city supports the Transportation Coalition’s proposed program for transportation related cap-and-trade auction revenues, please email Jennifer Whiting to be included on the joint support letter. It is imperative that you include your city’s specific signatory and logo.
