Bills in Committee: June 3–7

June 3, 2013
Although most eyes will now focus on the Budget Conference Committee, policy committees will resume meeting this week to begin to hear bills passed by the house of origin.
For information on bills that crossed houses, please see “Hundreds of Bills Cross Houses as Senate and Assembly Take Action This Week,” CA Cities Advocate, May 31, 2013.

A full listing of all Senate and Assembly hearings is available online. Hearing times are subject to change. The League will report any actions of significance.
The League will be issuing an updated Hot Bills list early this week. Cities are encouraged to send letters on Hot Bills to their legislators. Bill language and any available position letters can be found on the League’s website at  by typing the bill number into the search box.
