Speakers and Topic Proposals Sought for 2014 Public Works Officers Institute

July 30, 2013
The League is continuing its search for speakers and session topics for the 2014 Public Works Officers Institute to be held March 26 – 28 in Sacramento in conjunction with the County Engineers Association of California (CEAC) Spring Conference.

Topics that not only educate attendees but challenge them with progressive ideas and thoughts in breakout sessions are the Institute’s focus. Suggestions for inspiring and motivating keynote speakers are encouraged.  Let your colleagues and connections know about this excellent opportunity to share their knowledge and expertise.

Submissions, non-commercial in nature, from any individual, group, business or organization on any topic are welcome. The Program Planning Advisory Committee will consider the educational value of each proposal and the extent to which it presents new and/or significant information.

The deadline to submit idea proposals for consideration is Aug. 14 at 5:00 p.m. Proposal and speaker applications are available here

Please submit all completed session proposals to CEAC Program Manager Merrin Gerety at mgerety@counties.org.

Do not miss this opportunity to speak before this influential audience!
