League Secures New Keynote Speaker Following Speaker’s Untimely Death

Due to the sudden and unfortunate passing of keynote speaker, Kimberly Alyn, the League has secured Dr. Bob Nelson, a leading expert on employee motivation, performance, engagement, recognition and rewards to speak during both the Public Works Officers Institute and Planning Commissioners Academy on Feb. 27 – March 1 in Pasadena.

Public Works Officers Institute — Wednesday, Feb. 27

Nelson will deliver his keynote address “Five Trends Shaping the Future of Work” for the Public Works Officers Institute on Wednesday, Feb. 27 followed by a breakout session HR Strategies for a More Engaged Workforce.”

Planning Commissioners Academy — Thursday, Feb. 28

Nelson will deliver his keynote address for the Planning Commissioners Academy “Ubuntu: Inspiring Teamwork & Collaboration at Work” on Thursday, Feb. 28.
