Legislative Action Day Preview

April 19, 2013
The League is gearing up for Legislative Action Day next Wednesday, April 24.

This annual event is an opportunity for city officials to join League staff in Sacramento to learn more about currently proposed legislation and advocate for their cities. The opening general session will cover current budget issues, the status of new economic development tools, updates on enterprise zones, pension reform implementation, land use, and public safety realignment.
