League Board Takes Action on Statewide Ballot Measures

Five ballot measures on the November 2012 statewide ballot were considered by the League board of directors during its meeting in San Diego on Sept. 6, in conjunction with the Annual Conference.

 

The League’s officers and directors considered and took action on the following measures:

  • Proposition 30: The Schools and Local Public Safety Protection Act on 2012. No Position
  • Proposition 31: The Government Performance and Accountability Act. No Position
  • Proposition 34: Savings, Accountability, and Full Enforcement (SAFE) for California Act: Death Penalty Repeal. Oppose.
  • Proposition 35: Californians Against Sexual Exploitation (CASE): Human Trafficking. Penalties. Sex Offender Registration. Support.
  • Proposition 36: Three Strikes Reform Act of 2012: Repeal Felony Offender Sentences Revisions. No Position.

The League has not taken a position on any other measure pending on the November ballot.
