However, because HCD has been advised not to suspend reporting requirements until pending proposed rulemaking governing the enterprise zones could be adopted, HCD has extended a 60-day grace period for reporting due to the late notice.
California currently has four types of G-TEDAs which provide related tax benefits and locally provided incentives in order to encourage business investment and job creation for qualified disadvantaged individuals in state-designated economically distressed areas.
These areas are:
Local Agency Military Base Recovery Areas;
Manufacturing Enhancement Areas; and
Targeted Tax Areas.
If your city has one of these G-TEDAs, please ensure that reports are submitted to HCD no later than Nov. 30.
For questions regarding these reports, please contact John Nunn at (916) 322-1554.
