California Reentry Council Network Launches New Website

May 4, 2012

The California Re-entry Council Network (CRCN) has launched its new website.

CRCN created its website as a resource for local community collaborations working to promote safe and successful reentry for people leaving jails and prisons.

This website provides opportunities to:

  • Learn about similar reentry work in cities and counties across California;
  • Access resources on areas of interest; and
  • Share information about what is happening within local reentry collaborations across California.

CRCN aims to increase the organizational capacity of reentry councils, roundtables and task forces, improve the participation of county partners in local reentry councils, and to maintain a network for ongoing communication and information sharing on successes and challenges of reentry policies and practices across the state.

There are currently 12 reentry groups representing 10 California counties involved with CRCN.

For more information on CRCN, please visit its website.
