He is survived by his wife Debby and two daughters, Caroline and Abigail. Stuart was part of the League family through his involvement with the League Partner program.

As public affairs manager with San Diego Gas and Electric, Stuart was actively engaged with California local government. He served as League Partner president in 2010 and as president of the California State Association of Counties Corporate Associates program in 2009.

For those who had the good fortune to know and work with Stuart, he will be remembered for his warm and loving nature, great sense of humor, positive outlook and passion for local government.
