Free Leadership Training for Elected Officials July 13 – 15

Deadline to Register July 10

June 29, 2012

The California Latino Caucus Institute (CLCI), in collaboration with the Drucker Institute at Claremont University and the Institute for Local Government, is offering an Elected Officials Training Academy July, 13 – 15 in Orange County.

The leadership training academy will provide invaluable leadership skills and public policy knowledge, as well as offer opportunities for networking with experts in your field and share strategies with other elected officials.

The training will be held at:

DoubleTree Santa Ana-Orange County Airport
201 East MacArthur Blvd.
Santa Ana, CA

This is one of the CLCI’s signature programs and it is not exclusively for Latino elected officials. The academy will provide invaluable leadership skills and public policy knowledge, as well as assist in building networks of experts and elected officials.  Participants will need to cover their own transportation costs.

All accommodations, registration, materials and meals are complimentary thanks to the generous support of the Chrysler Foundation, which has fully funded this program. Participant placement will be on a first come first served basis and space is limited. RSVP no later than Tuesday, July 10.

A tentative schedule for this event is available online. To register for the Elected Officials Training Academy, complete the registration form and fax to (323) 664-7222 or contact Lisa Baca-Sigala at (323) 660-7234. Additional information can be found on the CLCI website.

An AB 1234 training is also being offered for $50 as a stand-alone event. For additional information about this stand-alone training contact Lisa Baca-Sigala.
