The briefing will provide city officials with an understanding of the legal challenges created by AB 1484, including the so-called “true-up” provisions with which cities and successor agencies are currently struggling. In addition, this briefing will provide city officials with information on other rapidly approaching deadlines involving housing assets, the January — June 2013 ROPS filing, and audits, as well as the new “safe harbor” provisions enacted in AB 1484.
