Conference Committee on Public Employee Pensions to Hold Fourth Meeting on Feb. 28

The Conference Committee on Public Employee Pensions has scheduled a meeting on Feb. 28 to discuss "Examining the Impact of Increasing Normal Retirement Age." This will be the fourth meeting of the committee, which is co-chaired by Assembly Member Furutani (D-Long Beach) and Sen. Gloria Negrete McLeod (D-Chino).

  • Ken Jacobs, chair, UC Berkeley Center for Labor Research and Education Institute for Research on Labor and Employment

The committee last met in January to discuss hybrid plans and also met twice in 2011 to review the current conditions of public employee benefits and the reforms taking place locally and statewide.
