The community with the most votes by April 30 will be awarded $1 million dollars. Additionally, the next 20 communities with the highest support will be awarded $50,000 each.
To participate, residents can visit the campaign's Facebook page, select their state and vote for their city. Participants can vote once daily until the end of the campaign on April 30.
Once the winning community and the 20 runner-up communities have been selected, the Walmart Foundation will determine, based on its funding criteria, which hunger-fighting organizations in those communities will receive grants and the grant amount. The $1,000,000 donation for the winning community and the $50,000 donations for each of the 20 runner-up communities may be dispersed to various organizations in those communities.
