The request focused primarily on the requirements for adopting a conflict of interest code for the successor agencies and oversight boards, which agency reviews the conflict of interest code, and what the requirements are for filing Statements of Economic Interests (Form 700).

The FPPC’s advice letter, issued Wednesday, provides analysis and guidance on the League’s questions, and can found on the League's redevelopment webpage. The League’s City Attorneys’ Department Post-Redevelopment Working Group will be reviewing and evaluating the advice letter, and if needed, the League will request additional advice or clarification.
