Each year, the city clerks' department elects officers to oversee the work of the department, represent the department on the League's board of directors and other League committees. The city clerks' officers meet to discuss issues of concern to the department and to plan upcoming conferences.
2014 City Clerks New Law & Elections Seminar

The City Clerks' Department of the League of California Cities will hold its 2014 seminar from Wednesday, December 3 through Friday, December 5 in Monterey. Last year, over 260 clerks from throughout the State attended this premiere event for continuing professional education, to discuss topics, to network and share experiences and expertise to better serve their cities.
