Jerry Brown’s proposal, the two sides finally reached a deal. Taking to the podium at 1:30 p.m. today, Governor Brown outlined the agreed upon $115.4 billion General Fund spending plan for the fiscal year that begins on July 1. The Governor also called two special sessions on targeted fees and taxes related to transportation and health care. This action allows lawmakers additional time to focus on these crucial issues outside of the constitutional budget deadlines.State Budget, Transportation |
