ARB Board Hearing to Consider Final AB 32 Scoping Plan Update

The California Air Resources Board (ARB) will hold a public board hearing May 22 in Sacramento to consider the final AB 32 Scoping Plan Update.

New Community Schools Partnerships Online Toolkit Available

A new resource is available to city officials working in partnership with counties and schools to improve local conditions of children and families. The Cities Counties Schools Partnership (CCS) online toolkit helps local agency elected officials and staff understand, support and build community schools partnerships. The toolkit includes strategies, examples of successful partnerships in urban, suburban and rural communities, lessons learned and resources for tailoring community schools partnerships.

Cities Asked to Promote Donate Life and Safe Digging Month

California cities have been asked to support two important causes, National Safe Digging Month and DMV/Donate Life California, which are being recognized during the month of April. The following summaries offer information and sample resolutions regarding the two causes.
