Jerry Brown’s proposed FY 2016-17 state budget, the Department of Finance (DOF) released estimates of statewide collections of motor vehicle fuel tax revenues (Highway User Tax Account or HUTA) for FY 2015-16 and FY 2016-17. California City Finance has updated estimated allocations for each city based on the DOF estimates.State Budget, Municipal Finance, Revenue and Taxation, Transportation Updated California Water Action Plan ReleasedThe Natural Resources Agency, Department of Food and Agriculture and the California Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday announced the release of an updated California Water Action Plan. The updated plan comes two years after the first release and reflects progress on the goals established in January 2014 on sustainable water management.
